PVC Guitar Stand

This PVC guitar stand were made by students in a class. The one shown in photo was a bass stand but it works the same. The idea was from the internet and modified by students.

Step 1: Material List

PVC pipe 8 ft long (at least 20 mm diameter or it will bend too much)

Measurement tool

T joint x 8

L joint x 4

PVC pipe cutter

PVC glue

Step 2: Cutting the Pipe

The length can be decided by yourself, whether you want to make a electric guitar stand, bass stand or acoustic guitar.

To connect two joint together, cut a small pipe that is just the length of both insert area.

The list was not in scale so you will have to do your own measurement.

Step 3: Assembly

So after cutting the pipe, you can assembly once for test.

Do not glue it as you will need to make adjustment.

If the test is good, you can start gluing it together.

Do not disassembly the whole stand as you may have a chance to glue the wrong parts.

Took off and glue each part would be easier.

The glue should be apply in the joint, not on the pipe.
