Introduction: Pacit Canton Bihon
This is a dish on which I have literally grown up. My aunt being a Filipino always made this minus the pork and other non halal/unavailable items
A good rule of thumb is for one part noodles and 2/3 part chicken, vegetables should be used.
Increase the amount you like, decrease the amount u don’t like.
For me bell peppers are less. Rice vermicelli is more Maggi is less. I used 2 packets (140g) Maggi and 1/2 packet (200g) rice vermicelli.
I took around
large onion sliced thinly
Cabbage or ice berg shredded
Dark soya sauce
Maggi or pacit canton,
Step 1: Prepping Vegetables
Fry onions. If you have UNCOOKED CHICKEN add Cook. If you have FRESH CARROTS add now and STIR FRY.
If you have Fresh BELL PEPPERS STIR FRY QUICKLY.
AVOID ADDING FROZEN VEGETABLES. ( I had frozen ones.)
Step 2: Add Raw Maggi. Add Rice Vermicelli to Cold Water.
If you are using pacit canton, boil them.
With help of chopsticks open the noodles and add chicken chunks ( if not added earlier).
Add spices. And soya sauce. Add the Maggi masala too if you used Maggi.
In the end.add all frozen items or cooked items. Plus rice vermicelli. Mix and give sum ( cook covered on low heat)
