Introduction: Paper Bag Folder Bag

This is a cool craft that will help you organize while recycling store paper bags you just throw away. I used a bag from Trader Joe's, but you can use any paper bag at any size. It depends on what you want to store. Here is how you do it!

Step 1: Supplies

You will need to gather a set of supplies. Here they are.
1. A Marker, pen, or pencil.
2. A one-hole hole punch.
3. A three-hole hole punch.
4. A ruler
5. A paper bag
6. Glue or tape
7. Scissors

Step 2: Trace and Cut

You will need trace with a ruler across the bag to the length you would prefer and cut across that line. You will need to keep the leftover bag for the next step.

Step 3: Trace, Cut, and Paste

Next you will need to trace across the part of the paper bag you kept and cut out that piece too. If you do not have enough paper from the bag grab another bag that is similar to that bag and use it. Make shore you trim part of the piece you cut out down on each side and paste it where you see in the picture. This is so the bag is more sturdy.

Step 4: Trace, Cut, Paste, and Hole Punch

Next you need to trace and cut a new piece of the brown paper bag out with left over's if you have them. Paste that piece where you see it in the picture. Next with you three-hole hole punch punch that piece with it like you see in the picture.

Step 5: Hole Punch, and Add String

Next you will need to make a hole punch with your one-hole hole punch where you see it in the picture. Add tie a piece of string where you punched the hole. This is to keep the stuff your storing in the bag.

Step 6: Binder Version

If you wanted to stop there you can make as just a binder organizer as seen in the pictures.

Step 7: Turn It Into a Bag Too

To turn it into a bag you will need to hole punch two holes on each corner of the bag at the top where you open it. After that you need to cut a string to the length you want it and tie it through both holes.

Step 8: The Final Product

This is a fun craft that is fun, helps one organize things such as binders and everyday stuff, you can carry it around, hang it up on a wall, store it anywhere, and also recycles bags we would normally through away. Remember this is a project where you can make it your way. You can use different materials, add color, and make it your own. For me it was a fun project and I hope it is for you too.
