Paper Cannon

This instructable explains how to make a paper cannon with daily use objets

Step 1: Material

To make the cannon you need :
- 5 Sheets of paper
- 1 Match box
- 3 Plastic bottle caps
- 1 Small string
- 1 Wood stick
- 1 Wine cork
- 1 pencil
- Glue
- Scissors
- Knife
- Drill

Step 2: Roll the Paper

Cut paper sheet in half vertically.

Roll the 10 half sheets of paper around the pencil. It is easier to roll them one by one the all at once.

Glue the last sheet of paper and remove the pencil.

Fill one side of the tube with paper and glue it.

Step 3: Wheels

Make a hole in the two bottle cap using the drill.
Put the wood stick in the hole and glue it.
Glue the wheels on the paper tube.

Step 4: Wick

Crush the extremity of some matches to get sulfur powder

Put the powder in a bottle cap, add some water and put the string.
Let dry the string. Your wick is ready.

Drill the extremity of the paper tube and fill it with the wick.

Step 5: Projectile

You can use any kind of projectile.

My favourites are cork wine, matches and screws.

Step 6: Cannon Powder

Cannon powder is made with sulfur from matches.

The thinnest is the powder, the better.

Step 7: FIRE

Fire the wick and wait for the explosion :)

You could use paper still but make it looser around the paper.
