Introduction: Paper Story

Paper Story is a paper art created by combining storytelling and origami art. Just paper cut in square shape is enough for you to do this application!

In this story, you will create the following with origami art.

  • Boots
  • Ship
  • Rocket
  • Airplane
  • Execution Chair
  • Sailing Ship
  • Double Ship
  • Finally: Box

Step 1: Prepare Your Story

Cut your paper in a square shape.

Step 2: Let's Start

Join 4 corners from the middle of the paper and turn the paper

Story Note

"A man had a land. He needed money. He decided to sell some of his land. He sold some land. [...]"

Step 3: Second Land Sale

Join 4 corners from the middle of the paper and turn the paper

Story Note

[... ] " He sold a bit more of the land because his money was not enough to realize his dreams. " [...]

Step 4: Last Land Sale

Join 4 corners from the middle of the paper and turn the paper

Story Note

[... ] " and sold some more. " [...]

Step 5: Realize Your Dreams: Boots

Shape the paper as shown in the figure.

Story Note

[...] " He bought himself a pair of boots with the money he earned. " [...]

Step 6: Realize Your Dreams: Ships

Shape the paper as shown in the figure.

Story Note

[...] " He has never sailed with ships and sailed. " [...]

Step 7: Realize Your Dreams: Rocket

Shape the paper as shown in the figure.

Story Note

Fold the rocket shape in half.
