Introduction: Paper Bullets
Have you ever wanted to make a bullet that is cheap, easy to use, and takes almost no time to make?
paper bullets are bullets made of paper, but they hurt a lot more than you would expect. many of you will know variations to the paper bullet, as it is often a common classroom/office weapon. this type of paper bullet is most likely the most simplified and consistent version to manufacture. This is my first instructable, so please have mercy. =}

Step 1: Materials...
now, to begin making paper bullets, we need stuff to make it out of! here is the list:
1. Paper
2. Two hands
3. Tape (optional)
4. rubber band (to shoot it from)
however, the rubber band has not been included in the picture...

Step 2: The First Real Step...
start with a piece of paper. it doesn't matter if it has anything on it, because you can make dozens of these paper bullets in minutes without expecting to get any back after you shoot them!
Step 3: Next...
go about one finger length into the paper and tear about one finger length up. it should look like the picture.
Step 4: Next...
start where the last tear ended, and tear about one finger length (to the right). I find it much easier to tear in a straight line when tearing against a straight edge, like my other finger.
Step 5: Next...
you should now have a square like this. it should be roughly one finger length by one finger length.
Step 6: Next... the Hard Part Is Over.
fold that square in half. if your square has more of a rectangular shape like mine, please fold it the long way like shown in the picture.
Step 7: Next...
now your paper in half the wide way (as shown in the picture)
Step 8: Next...
now fold it the wide way again! (as shown in the picture)
Step 9: Next...
fold it in half the wide way (again). make sure it resembles the picture.
Step 10: Almost There...
fold it again now. make sure you fold it in half the wide way. if you want to skip this step, you can, but your bullet will look very chunky and will not fly far. at this step, you can add tape to keep it together. tape reduces drag as the bullet flies, so i would add tape if i had any.
Step 11: Final Step!
now fold your piece of folded paper in half the long way, so it looks like the picture! the easiest way to bend through all the layers of paper is to bend it off the side of a desk or your thumb. your paper bullet is now complete. if you want, you can try other materials to make paper bullets from. cardboard, staples, foil, and wood chips are all things that can be added to the model. just make sure you do not do anything stupid such as purposely aiming for someone's eyes or nose. Have fun!
Step 12: This Is How You Shoot...
hold the rubber band between your thumb and index finger. now, use the paper bullet to pull back the rubber band as shown in the picture. release the paper bullet like a slingshot to fire.
