Intro: Passing Down Recipes

Even when you follow Grandmom's recipe to the letter is doesn't come out the same. Wouldn't you love for her to have shown you?  This is me doing just that with my granddaughter who needs just a boost to participate.

cute pic ! I started with a recipe on instructables and realized its a great way to share them with my kids and friends not just the instructables crowd but perhaps I should save the pdf's as well, I cook like my gma, recipes are more of a guide than a map, ingrediants can be switched added or deleted depending on the pantry, weather or just the cooks whim

You obviously enjoy cooking and it's nice that you share recipes. I also use recipes from Instructables (spend way too much time on here!), print them out and add notes about what else I added or took out. My mother's recipe book vanished after she died but being Amish she used few ingredients & I was able to recreate some. Salt, pepper, poultry seasoning and celery seed were her only 'herbs'. LOL!
