Introduction: Pasta Salad
A simple no mayo pasta salad that uses Italian dressing instead.
Step 1: Ingredients
First gather your ingredients:
1 lb pasta (any will do I prefer radiatori, or fusilli)
1 cup Italian dressing
Any of the following add ins
Frozen peas, Diced Tomatoes
Corn, Green beans
Mushrooms, Broccolli
Artichoke hearts, cauliflower
Basically any thing you like or have.
Step 2: Preparation
First cook the pasta then cool it in the fridge
(hot pasta seems to diminish the vinegar flavor of the dressing making an oily salad)
Step 3: Add Ins
Second add all your other ingredients (remember to drain any canned goods)
The only thing that is really required is the Italian dressing I found 1 cup for every pound (or .45 Kilos for you metric types)of uncooked pasta. Also I try not to add the dressing untill about 30 minutes before serving (again to avoid the vinegar taste from disappearing)
Step 4: Enjoy
The best step eat
Really simple stuff but oh so good.
And if you try any other ingredients that I didn't list please comments on how it turned out.

This looks delicious, thanks! I second the idea to use pesto, if you have it around.
