Patchwork Rug

Create a rug using scrap pieces of fur. You can also paint the leather side and hang it as artwork.

Supplies

scrap pieces of different hides

thread

needle

sewing machine

scissors

Step 1: Sew Together

Place the pieces like a puzzle and sew by hand or machine. I combined methods.

Step 2: In Progress

They do not have to come together perfectly.

Step 3: Finished

Both sides of the rug can be used. I kept the leather side unpainted.

Hey there! Great rug!

Just a humble suggestion, maybe change the cover picture to one of the cute finished sides of the rug with your dog on it (in the first step)? The one that shows up currently as your cover pic is the underside of the rug. Granted, you may have chosen that one to show the leather side of the fur material (or maybe to show the patchwork style of the rug?). But it makes it difficult for us to know what exactly this is as the current cover pic is hard to understand and doesn't show how beautiful your finished rug is!
