Introduction: Pc Build

in this project we will be building a working pc with basic computer components.

buying a prebuild pc can be very expensive and you don't get the same experience like if you build one

another reason it's a better idea to build one bc you can repair it easier and faster if you are also the one to put it together.

Supplies

Case, Power Supply, CPU/Heatsink, (Thermal Paste) Motherboard, (Stand Offs, I/O Plate) ,RAM ,Graphics Card, (Power, SATA, USB, Fans, Front Panel) ,Hard Drive, Fans,

Step 1: Cpu

in the first pic you can see are motherboard and the cup socket open. todo that u need to push down on the arm and then when u let go of the arm make sure you are not underneath the ketch anymore so you may lift it.

you can now look at the second picture I have placed my cpu into the slot, (that littlie small triangle needs to be lined up with the small triangle on the motherboard) all you have to do to put it in is place it, there is no need for force in this case.

next u with bring the metal cage down on top of the cup, this way it doesn't come out what so ever. then you bring that arm back down using a little strange to get that arm all the way down and under nether the ketch.

Step 2: Heat Sink

in the first pic you can see that i just put my heat sink on top of the cpu. my heat sink had per put thermal passed. next u can see that i moved all the arrows so that they were facing out, the 3 pic is just a close up of it. (if the arrows were the other way that is how we would remove it so u have to make sure they are stray well putting it in.) now you push down on all 4 sides u will see the black tips popping throw the pcb (printed circuit board) and they show look like the 3 holes on the back (they should NOT look like the one in the top left

Step 3: Ram and Stand Offs, Io Shield, Graphex Card

all you have to do for the ram is find the ram slots, find the ram notch (open the ram slot) line the ram accordingly with the ram notch then push it in till u hear a click(then can be very easier and some times the are a little harder to put in.) but as long as it's not backwards your probably not going to brake anything.

with the graphics card all u have to do is put it in like the ram just instead you put it I the graphex card slot and there is no spot to open it though(it is already open all u do is clicks it in).

you need to put in the io shield before you put the motherboard bc it process it and all it does is snap on to the case on the inside then you put the motherboard in and it holds it.

the sand off holes are the holes on the out side of the motherboard. this is where the screws go in to hold the motherboard in place in the pc. u have to insert the stand offs in to the case (pic 2 shows what a stand holes look) now u just need to find the corresponding holds under the motherboard to insert the stand off holes then you screw it in.

Step 4: Cable Management, Power Supple,

after u have you mother bored in you need to plug in you cords, that includes the power supple.

you will have to plug in the 20-24 pin,6-4 pin, then if u have a hard drive you will have to plug in the sata which comes out the power supple and then also the fans need to pugged in so the cpu has its own spot for the fan on top of the heat sink. and the case fans have there own spots on the motherboard (just pay attention to name of what the pins control. ) otherwise they won't work.

cable management is basically just the way that your wires are set in side of your pc, and how neat they are organized and what not. so just make it to where your wires are tucked in the the case under the motherboard and out of the way. the wires just need to be out of the way in a nice organized faction (we do that so it is much easier to replace parts and change things out in the long run when things are put away easier the first time)
