Picture Frame Earring Holder

In this instructable we will show you how to turn a picture frame into a stylish earring holder.  This earring holder is very easy to make and is the perfect solution for keeping your earrings organized.

All you will need is:
-picture frame
-sheet of scrapbook paper of your choice
-a roll of tulle or ribbon
-scissors
-packing tape.

Step 1: Prepare the Frame

First, take the back out of the frame and remove any glass.

Step 2: Cut the Scrapbook Paper

Second, trace the back of the frame onto the paper.  Then cut out the traced part of the paper.

Step 3: Apply Ribbon or Tulle

Next, tape one end of the ribbon or tulle to the back of the scrapbook paper.  Then firmly stretch the ribbon or tulle across the front of the paper.

Step 4: Apply Ribbon or Tulle (continued)

 Tape the other end of tulle or ribbon to the back of the scrapbook paper. Then cut off excess material.  Make sure it is tight enough to support the earrings.  Repeat until the paper is covered with material.

Step 5: Place in Frame

Place the covered paper on top of the frame backing. Then secure the backing into the frame.

Step 6: Finish the Project

Finally, attach your earrings to the tulle or ribbon and display the frame.

And behold, my salvation is at hand. I WILL have a gift form my wife this mothers day. She currently has her ear rings in a box and every morning I see her hunched over the box looking for the matching pair that she's in the mood for wearing. Now what would be awesomer (What the french toast?) would be a frame with a mirror somehow incorporated so as to provide visual aide to the earring wearer to do a spot check after earringafication (WhoDat?!)
