Introduction: Picture on a Wooden Block

A photo on a wooden block that can stand on a shelf.

Supplies

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Hot glue gun
  • A photo
  • Scissors
  • Pen
  • 7 small wooden sticks
  • Glue suitable for photos

Step 1: Making the Heart Shape

FIRST STEP:

Place the heart shaped wood on the picture.

Using a pen, mark the outline of the heart shape on the picture.

(Make sure you put the heart on the center of the photo.)

Cut out the picture in the shape you marked.

Step 2: Glue the Photo

STEP TWO:

Place a small amount of the 'photo glue' on the wooden block.

Wipe out the excess with a piece of paper.

Place the photo (that we cut earlier) on the side with glue, the picture facing up.

Put the piece aside as we wait for the glue to dry.

Step 3: Making the Stand

STEP THREE:

Plug in the hot glue gun.

When the glue gun is ready, glue together 2 wooden sticks at a diagonal - making a V shape.

When the glue has hardened, glue a third piece of wood to the V shape sticks - creating a cone shape.

Make two of these.

Step 4: Finish the Stand

STEP FOUR:

Take another wooden stick and attach the two cones to it, using the hot glue gun.

You need to make sure the cones are in a certain angle so the picture could eventually lean on it.

Step 5: Final Step

FIFTH AND FINAL STEP:

Using hot glue gun, attach the stand to the back of the wooden heart.

Wait for the glue to dry and WERE DONE!
