Pineapples: Extra Edition

Introduction: Pineapples: Extra Edition

About: Child of God

During the hot days, it's so easy to run to the ice box and snatch something sweet, soothing, savory, and unhealthy. Fruit is a great way to combat this. Naturally made on God's green earth, pineapple is one of the golden fruits. Sure you can pull pineapple out the fridge and eat it as it is, but why do that when you can be extra? I present to you, pineapples, but extra!

Supplies

Things that will be needed are

  • Toothpicks
  • Pineapples (and the juice)
  • An Ice tray (preferably silicone)
  • A freezer

If you want a place to put the pineapple juice, a cup may be option, and a spoon may be helpful when pouring the juice.

Step 1: Juicy

Separate your pineapples from the pineapple juice. You can set the fruit somewhere, or strain the juice in a cup. Once that is done, take out your ice tray. Coat the bottom of it in pineapple juice and place it in the freezer for an hour or until frozen. Don't use a lot of the juice because more will be needed in step three.

Step 2: Pineapple Piking

Pull out a spear of pineapple and separate it into three sections. Do this as many times as you need until you have one chunk for each cell in the ice tray. Then spear the small pineapple spears with a toothpick (oh, how the tables have turned). If you have any pinapple chunks left, eat it before anyone else can. They should have been faster.

Step 3: Juicier

Take the ice tray out of the freezer if the juice is frozen. Place each of your speared pineapple spears in a cell. Fill the remainer of space with juice. Place it back in the freezer for two hours or until frozen. If your have any left over pineapple juice, drink it before anyone else can. They're still too slow.

Step 4: The Extra Mile

Congrats! You went the extra mile to make a normal treat something cooler! Or frozen if you prefer. After you take them out of the freezer, eat them before anyone else can. I'm just kidding this time! But if you do, and someone objects tell them you made, you ate it. I hope you love your pineappl popcicles!
