Intro: Pinguin Bites

This is very funny looking and cheerful recipe to get the party started.

STEP 1: Ingredients

Here is a list of the ingredients:

- A medium size carrot
- About 150g large olives without pits
- A pack of soft feta cheese
- Some toothpicks

STEP 2: Preparing the Olives and the Carrot

First i washed the carrot and cut it in to rings to make the legs of the pinguins, I cut  a triangle part out of the rings to so the became more like a pair of legs. Than i cut small square pieces of carrot, i made them round from one of the sides to make them with beak a like shape. I stuffed them in to the holes from the pitted olives and the head was ready.

STEP 3:

For the pinguins' body i cut a piece along the olive (about 1/3 ) and filled it with feta cheese. After that i used a toothpick to connect the three parts and added some snow balls effect with small cheese balls in the tray next to the pinguins.

So adorable!!! Perfect for winter! Thanks for sharing.
I would think that instead of a carrot, use cheese that's been shaped into a tube. I normally don't eat olives but a friend of mine says that cheese goes better with olives than carrots.
You could also use pickled carrots; they go amazingly well with olives. The vinegar taste...
You got that right! Pickled anything is good. Except pigs feet.
Hehe, these are awesome! Thanks for the how-to!
