Plants Growing in Types of Bottles
Intro: Plants Growing in Types of Bottles
Almost any plant can be grown in a bottle. The method shown in this video is simple, inexpensive and efficient. One can apply this method for growing vegetables, herbs, ornamental plants etc. in smaller or bigger bottles. Adapt the size of the bottle to the dimensions of the plants you want to grow. Tree saplings grown in a bottle can be planted in their final location leaving the major part of the bottle around the root ball. This enhances the survival rate of the saplings.

if there is still plastic around the major part of the rootbal, doesnt that inhibit its function? after all, we want large roots so plants can absorb a lot of food

The bottom part of the rootball is developing freely in the soil. In the meanwhile the upper part is continuing its water absorption, thus avoiding transplant stress. stress

Heb een eikel die zich aan het ontwikkelen is in een plastic melkfles. ze groeien welsiwaar traag, maar uiteindelijk zal dit toch een mooie boom worden waar mijn zoon hopelijk nog van kan genieten.
