Play Doh

A how-to on making play-doh.

Step 1: Gather Materials

• Mixing bowl
• Paper towel
• 1/2 cup measuring cup
• 1/4 cup measuring cup
• Salt
• Flour
• Spoon
• Food coloring
• Plastic bags

Step 2: Add 1/2 Cup Flour

Add 1/2 cup of flour to the mixing bowl.

Step 3: Add 1/4 Cup Salt

Add 1/4 cup of salt to mixing bowl.

Step 4: Add 1/4 Cup Water

Add 1/4 cup of water to mixing bowl.

Step 5: Mix Ingredients Thoroughly

Mix ingredients together with a spoon until dough is formed.

Step 6: Separate Into 4 Chunks

Separate dough into 4 equal-sized chunks.

Step 7: Indent Centers of Chunks

Use your index finger to put a small indent halfway through the center of each chunk.

Step 8: Add Food Coloring

Add food coloring to center.

Tip:

Add 1 drop at a time and mix it in (repeat until dough is the desired color)

Step 9: Mix Food Coloring

Mix food coloring into the dough with your hands.

Step 10: Enjoy!

Have fun with your play-doh! Just don't eat it.

Step 11: Seal in Bags

Seal play-doh in bags after use to avoid drying out.
