Introduction: Pocket Hole Drilling Station

About: If you like simple solutions then here you can find some of my crazy ideas.

I have a little cheap pocket hole jig, but for this one I need always a clamp to fix it.

So I decided to build a little jig for this jig.

It is designed for my "clamping box" but you can it easily adapt to your workbench.

But I have also an Instructable for my "clamping box"

Step 1: Gluing Two Stripes on the Main Board

My pocket hole jig has a little shoulder of 6 mm, therefore I glued two boards of MDF with 6 mm thickness left and right from the jig.

Step 2: Making a Pedestal

I screwed 3 little boards of plywood on the back of the main board to build a little pedestal to support the toggle clamp.

Step 3: Screw the Toggle Clamp on the Pedestal

I put the pocket hole jig and the toggle clamp in there position and then I screwed the toggle clamp on the pedestal,

Step 4: Glue the Jig on the Clamp

I put a big drop of hot glue on the pocket hole jig and then I pressed the clamp down and waited until the glue was cold.

Step 5: Clamp the Whole Jig on the Workbench

Here you can see how the jig is fixed on my workbench.

Step 6: Adjust the Drill

You can easily lift the clamp and adjust the drill if it is necessary.
