Introduction: Pocket Pebble Shooter

About: I love making things and learning new skills. Usually one hobby leads me to another, and another, and another.

The pocket pebble shooter is made from the top of a soda bottle, one balloon, and one rubber band. The result is a pocket sized pebble shooter capable of shooting small objects great distances.

Step 1: Cutting the Bottle Top

Cut the bottle top using standard house scissors along the white line as indicated in the photo. Its not terribly important to cut directly on the line or in a uniform shape. the cap section just needs to be intact with a little bit of the lip left.

Remove the lid and lid safety seal ring and discard.

Step 2: Balloon Prep and Install

Cut the balloon with scissors leaving only the largest most bulbous portion of the balloon. Pull the balloon up over the cap section of the bottle as shown in the photo. Secure the balloon using the rubber band. Be sure to wrap it as tight as possible so that the balloon will not slip off and snap your finger. Your Pocket Pebble Shooter should now look like the picture with the coin and is now ready for testing.

Step 3: How to Use Your New "Pocket Pebble Shooter"

***Please wear proper eye protection***

Please use in a safe area with proper eye protection. Never aim at or near any living things. That being said you can fire small candy or pebbles from the Pocket Shooter by loading them into the mouth of the bottle and letting it drop into the balloon. With one hand firmly holding the Pocket shooter and the other holding the candy/pebble in the balloon pull the balloon back and release.

***The Candy/Pebble will exit the Pocket shooter at high velocity so please use caution and be safe, treat it with the same respect you would any other device that shoots projectiles***

USE AT OWN RISK, MAKE AT OWN RISK, DO NOT HOLD THE AUTHOR RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, INJURY, DEATH, GLOBAL WARMING OR INVASIVE SPECIES!!!

Set up some cans and knock them down, Hope you all enjoy!
