Pomelo Lantern

You can find pomelo in Chinese market. It is one of the most popular fruits in China, especially in fall and winter.

But we always throw the skin. :-P

I tried to fine a nice pumpkin to make a lantern in Guangzhou China for Halloween. However I could not find a suitable one, I bought a pomelo instead. And I made a pomelo lantern

Step 1:

You need to prepare

1. pomelo *1

2. knife *1

3. candle *1

4. scraper brush *1 (optional)

Step 2:

Step 1 massage the pomelo in order to make the pomelo skin easy to peel off

Step 2 Cut the triangle piece of the pomelo

Step 3 Use scraper brush to try to peel off the skin

Step 4 carve the pattern you like
