Intro: Pool Bug Skimmer

STEP 1: Get a Wire Hanger

get a wire hanger and bend it so the width is a circle shape.

STEP 2: Get a Safey Vest

get a safety vest. mine was a freebie. as long as it has holes it'll work.

STEP 3: Sew It Up

in this case I had my beautiful wife sew it up for me, because my sewing skills are horrible.

STEP 4: Now U Have a Skimmer

my Skimmer cost me 0$. I had all material and a wire hanger. my wife only charged me a kiss. hope you enjoyed my first instructable...

Used stockings work great also.

If you have an old leaf catcher that has torn,you can pry off the plastic rim piece that holds the old netting on and replace it with a 5 gal paint strainer from Home Depot.Just stretch in on over the aluminum ring and replace the plastic rim piece.
