Introduction: Pop-Bottle Trampoline Sprinkler

Hi Everyone!

Anyone who owns a trampoline knows how much fun it can be to put the sprinkler under the trampoline and cool down on a hot summer day. But when you put a sprinkler under the trampoline the water hits the mat and only a bit of the water gets to you. This wastes water and only covers parts of your trampoline. I wanted to build something that worked better, but I did not want to spend a bunch of money. I have found the solution! Hope you enjoy!

Step 1: What You Will Need

This is a very simple build and you only need 4 things:

-Pop-Bottle

-Marker

-Thumb tack

-Hozelock

Step 2: Prep the Bottle

Remove the label on the bottle and discard the cap. Then mark where you would like the water spouts to be placed. Because the sprinkler will be placed on the side of the tramponine you are going to want to keep your spray angle to about a 90 degree angle.

Step 3: Poking the Holes

Use the thumb tack or a needle to poke the holes in the bottle.

Step 4: Attach the Bottle to Your Hose

Attach the Hozelock to the hose and the pop-bottle. The threads on the Hozelock and the pop bottle fit perfectly together. (If needed you can add some glue to seal the connection between the Hozelock and the pop-bottle.)

Step 5: Attaching to the Trampoline

Drape the hose over the side of the trampoline with the bottle on the end. I used claps to hold the hose in place but it is not necessary. Remembering the spray angle twist the bottle to get total coverage of the trampoline. you can play with different hole placement to best fit your trampoline. All thats left to do is turn on the hose and have fun!
