Step 1: Materials

Scissors

Sharpie

At least 2 clean, and preferably dry, pop cans

ruler(optional)

knife

tack (not shown and optional)

Stapler (not shown but optional)

denatured alcohol (works best, but whatever you have should work)

Step 2: Cutting the Can

score around the can with something sharp, and then puncturing it, carefully removing the middle so it looks like the image above.

Step 3: Marking the Cans

grab a book or something, about 1 inch but it doesn't matter that much. Mark around the cans and cut the one with the bottom intact first. take the can with the bottom cut out and push it in a little, stretching the cut can. Then cut on the line

Step 4: The Walls

take a strip of aluminum, as you should have left over scraps, and cut a strip about a quarter inch taller than your can tops and bottoms. Then coil it, set it inside the can with the bottom, let it expand, take it out and either staple it or cut half way from the bottom up and top down and slide it together. Next make some hole around it to let the gas in on the bottom side. You will need a few of these (more than shown)

Step 5: Put It Together

put the walls in the can with the bottom. Carefully put the hole cut bottom between the walls and the other bottom piece. Press firmly, try not to create too many wrinkles, but a couple are okay. Above is my makeshift demonstration of a pot.

Step 6: Fire It Up!

Pour alcohol (denatured is best) in the big hole in the middle. I used nail polish remover to test, but it wasnt the best. Try to get as much to go to the slits as possible. Light and wait for about 30 seconds. You can now use your stove for whatever cooking you please!
