Hiya folks! I'm new at this so don't be expecting a good instructable! (I probably should not have started with that.....(o3o) So I am a Portal Nerd, Geek, Freak, Thing, Person and I was inspired by this instructable by an Author that goes by the name of treese1 and he made this room!: https://www.instructables.com/id/Portal-2-Themed-bedroom/
So, Well, this is my room now but I am redecorating. I will now tell you how to make some of these cool things. :D

Step 1: POTaTOS!

Hey, so first is GLaDOS, or as us fans call her: "POTaTOS". Only when she is a potato. All you really need is thirty bucks and a decent russet potato. Here is a link for the talky, light up thingy.: http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/science/eb0a/
it has awesome effects, it is almost like it is actually being powered by it. It comes with a collector's backdrop that looks like it is made from posterboard. Sorry I couldn't make a video of what she says, but here is every phrase:
"Oww! You stabbed me. What is wrong with... whoooaaahh.... hold on, do you have a multi-meter? Never-mind, it feels like I'm outputting an extra half volt. Keep an eye on me, I'm going to do some scheming, here I go.... FFSSZZZTT. Whoa, where are we? How long have I been out? Did anything happen while I was out?"

The Quotes below play randomly upon button press.

    "That extra half volt helps but it isn't going to power miracles. If I think too hard I'm going to fry this potato before we get a chance to burn up in the atomic fireball that little idiot is going.... FFSSZZZTT."
    "Look! This place is going to blow up if I don't get back in my body."
    "Listen to me. We had a lot of fun testing and antagonizing each other and yes sometimes it went too far. But we're off the clock now, it's just us talking, like regular people... and this is no Joke. We are in deep trouble."
    "Look, I don't like this any more than you do. In fact I like it less because I'm the one that got partially eaten by a bird... I think I hear the bird! Pick me up!"
    "In case you were wondering. Yes, I'm still a potato."
    "Yes sir Mr. Johnson."
    "CLAP CLAP CLAP. Oh good! My slow-clap processor made it into this thing. So we have that."
    "Yeah! Take the lemons! Burn his house down! Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah! Oh I like this guy! Burning people... he says what we're all thinking!"
    "Go on. Get a big fat eye-full, with your big fat eyes. That's right. A potato just called your eyes "fat"... Now your fat eyes have seen everything."

Step 2: Portal Gels!

This isn't much of a crafty part but it is so cool! On the same website, they have authentic portal gels! they bounce, stretch, tear, lift comics, and shatter when hit with a hammer! http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/collectibles/e970/?srp=1
they rule! Also, I did this before I got the gels, I made a little gel concoction that you can use food coloring to make! and you can just leave it plain for conversion gel! Ingredients:
1 cup liquid starch
2 cups Elmer's glue

Add glue to starch and mix with hands until it forms a ball. Knead 5-10 minutes.
If it is too sticky add a little starch. If it is too runny add some glue.

Step 3: Wheatley! Space Core!

So now, I am going to tell you about some thing that is a craft craft. It is about making Wheatley and SPPPPPPPPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCCEEEEEEEEEEEEE core. What you need is a styrofoam ball and model magic air-dry clay in blue, white, black, gray(mixed color), and that's all. Oh yeah and red and yellow to mix to make orange for his eye. you cover the ball in white model magic. Then you get two looong sakes of black and wrap them around two parts on the middle. (Shown better in the last picture.) then on the left sides make two smaller snakes and make them into circles and put them on the sides so it looks like two really really squished cans of soda. Then inside take out the white model magic that is in the "ears". Then add black model magic to the inside of the "ears". then use the model magic that you took out and mix it with some black to make a nice shade of gray. Then split the gray into two and make two cylinders and flatten them so they fit inside of the black but don't cover the black. Then use like a playing card or Christmas card and make some lines so it looks almost as if it were a cylinder that got flattened and has lines on it. (Shown in the second and third pictures.) For the eyes make a big fat snake of white and make it a circle and put it in the middle of the ball. Then fill the inside of that with black and add a blue circle. then mix blue with white a few times and make it dark to light with bigger to smaller ending with white. the handles are half squares with toothpicks in them and add gray around them like grip handles. the only difference with space core is he has that boot up like orange line thingy. then just paint areas with a little black to make him look old. Then you are done with them! IF YOU RUN OUT OF WHITE JUST USE YE;LOW AND THEN LET IT DRY AND THEN PAINT IT WHITE!!!!!

Step 4: BEANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11!!111!!111111!11!!!!!!111one!!!!11111!!!!!!

This is really easy. it represents the bean cans found in ratman dens. All you do is, like take an old spaghettios can or something take of the lid and label wash out the inside the make a circle that has perforated edges and that is the lid and take off the label and take a skinny rectangular piece of white paper and write with a black marker in bold print,: BEANS. Done! Put that near Rattman murals that you can paint on your wall.

Step 5: Portal Gun.......................

OMG ITS TIME FOR THE PORTAL GUN THING ZOMG. Actually I have made one but it fell apart due to glue problems but I will fix it and post pics and instrux.
