"Potion" Earring

Welcome to my (first) able! in ths tutorial we will make a simple yet good-looking erring. I have a friend who love MMORPG games so i made this x-mass present for her. But please keep in mind that I have the best grammar in the world! <\irony>

ps.: it will roundly cost like ~1$ per piece

Step 1: What Will You Need?

-Small vials.
-Hanger
-Hidrochloric Acid
-Cork
-Glue
-Sand paper
-Cutter and blade
-Marker
-Wire
-Pliers
-Alcohol
-Food coloring
and some containers

Step 2: Lets Get Started! Clear That Vial!

After you chosen the vial you like to use wash it out with water. They you poure some acid (use glove!!!) in a plastic container and put your vial in it. This will remove the text printed on it. If it didnt got off all the text, rub it a little bit with a paper towel. Then rins it in water to remove all the acid.

Step 3: I Think We Need a Plug!

Get redy for some cork-job. OK first of all mark the size on the cork with a marker and cut it to that size. (a bit of advice: use a longer/higher cork). Than sand it, sometimes the cork will rip apart because the direction of sanding was wrong... its depend on the type of cork mostly.. After you got a cylinder you must cut one side a little bit narrower, than sand it again. Thats all.

Step 4: Lets Put the "magick" In!

There is no sutch magick which will materialize the color inside of the vial so we have to do it ourselfes.

Fill up the vial a bit (about 2/3) with alcohol, than drop in some colorant. Plug in the plug (it must be tight) than cut it down to size.

Step 5: Add Some Metal!

Almost there, but we nead to attach the hanger to our Potion, so we use some U shaped wire... and push it in the cork with the hanger inside it.

Step 6: Some Glue...

We are done...almost. I do like to add some glue to it so it wont be pulled appart by gravitational or centripetal force (why not? this is an earring) so we must add some glue. Firs of all put it around the edges, the capillar forces will be used to pull the glue inside a bit. After the edges put some glue on the top (for this step hang the ear ring up on something) and even it a bit so it will cover the whole top including the metal U shaped part. now... let it dry.

Step 7:
