Pre-poo Hair Mask

Introduction: Pre-poo Hair Mask

Say goodbye to dull lifeless hair and embrace the beauty of shiny luxurious locks! If you are really busy and do not have time for a salon visit or maybe just on a tight budget, this homemade hair mask is perfect for you. Feeling a little frumpy and blah? Just give yourself the little extra boost you need to start your day out with confidence. (Step 3 shows my before pics)

Step 1: Ingredients and Tools

  • Olive Oil
  • Coconut Oil
  • Ripe Avocado
  • Honey
  • Small Orange
  • Hair Towel
  • Microwaveable Dish
  • Wooden Spoon
  • Small Cutting Board
  • Knife
  • Measuring Spoons

Step 2: Measure and Mix

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons ripe avocado
  • 1 tablespoon fresh squeezed orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey

After measuring the ingredients into the microwaveable safe dish, set aside. Put your hair towel in the dryer on more dry setting. Then mix your ingredients together with the wooden spoon and microwave for 15 to 30 seconds. The fatty mix needs to be hot but not too hot to touch. After it is done, mix it again.

Step 3: Apply to Hair

I highly recommend using gloves for this part because the mix is extremely fatty and a little gross. Apply starting at the roots and working your way to the ends, massaging it in thoroughly. Please apply to dry hair so that it can soak in the goodness. If you have really thick hair, you may want a double batch. Get your hair towel from the dryer and wrap your gooey hair up tight. Wait 15 minutes then rinse from hair. Shampoo and condition your hair then style as usual.

Step 4: Results

Everyone's results will vary based on hair type but I can guarantee you will see a visible difference! Hello Beautiful! Have a spectacular day full of confidence!
