Introduction: Pretreatmaker III - End of Shift Cleaning
Process for cleaning at end of shift.
Step 1: Open Drawer and Clean Surfaces
Step 2: Remove Plates and Clean Surfaces
Remove the pallet and the two support plates and wipe them with a clean cloth.
Step 3: Clean Inside of Machine
Wipe the inside walls of the machine to remove any remaining Pre-Treatment.
Use a water bottle to flush any remaining Pre-Treatment from the gutters.
Step 4: Flush Nozzles With Water
Press the Water button 3 times for a total of 15 sec.
Step 5: Remove the Nozzles
Remove the yellow quick release nozzle holders by turning them to the left.
Separate the assembled nozzles into three groups on the drawer.
Step 6: Clean the Nozzles
Use a toothbrush to clean the orifice from the nozzle side of the nozzle.
Use an air pistol to clean the orifice from the supply side of the nozzle. It works best to hold the nozzle in your hand while cleaning it with the air pistol.
Lastly inspect the orifice of the nozzle by holding up to a light source. Any clogged or restricted nozzles should be cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner with a light solution.
Step 7: Flush System With Water
Press the water button 2 times for a total of 10 sec.
Step 8: Power Off
Switch the power off using the green switch on the side of the machine.
Step 9: Remove Spray Mat
Grip the mat in the middle and pull up and toward yourself to remove it from the catch tray.
Step 10: Clean Catch Tray
Use a clean cloth to clean the catch tray of any remaining Pre-Treatment.
Step 11: Open Up Drawer, Nozzle Cover, Lid
Leave the Drawer, Nozzle Cover, and Lid open to air out.
