Introduction: Printed Snowball
This is a 3D printed snowball for the 2014 "3D PRINTED ORNAMENT DESIGN CHALLENGE". The idea is that it is a "snowball" made out of a bunch of snowflakes like a real snowball!
The Ornament needs to be scaled up to a 3" cube for a full print. The ornament can be hung by looping string through any hole in the structure.
This design really emphasizes the capabilities of 3D printing where this part cannot be made through traditional Manufacturing or Injection Molding.
There is an added repaired file. The repaired file was made in NetFabb to clean up the stl, though it does not look as good.
