PD, Evening PD & Special Events Summer Camp Ideas

Program, evening program directors and special events coordinators at children's summer camps have a big tasks.  Not only do they help work with homesick campers, staff, ensuring cabins are clean, but they are also in charge of making sure programs run smoothly, that they are entertaining, and they create fantastic memories!

Because of camp children learn so much more about themselves and take the memories and lessons learned in activities, in their cabins, in their social interactions with them.

This guide will help you in creating those memories! 

Reminder to PD's

Ask for help, as a summer camp art director I worked closely with PD's to make sure things had great visual appeal and a lasting effect

Cheap is good- the camp I worked for has plenty of money but we also remember how and when to spend it ask yourself can I get the same look cheaper

Safety!!!  So important for not only you but for the children.  Some things added might be dangerous, be your own expert and if in doubt ask the instructables author and your camp director what they think.
