Introduction: Protobloc Prototyping Wires
When designing a circuit I tend to simulate it in computer based simulator and then build it on protobloc or breadboard, I have found however that when I want to connect my arduino to the protobloc circuit the solid core wire isn't ideal. I found that you can buy wires with pins so I decided to make some using the pins from pin headers on old circuit boards.
I got the pins from an old sound card and soldered them onto the end of the wires and then put heat shrink over the joints to insulate them.
