Introduction: Pumpkin Coffee in a Crock Pot

About: I have been sewing and crafting for several years, my children are grown so now I have lots of time to be creative. I enjoy photography, cooking, cake decorating, painting and sharing my projects with others.

I love the taste of pumpkin coffee in Autumn but it can be expensive, I've paid $4.00 for a cup at my local coffee shop. This recipe is so delicious and easy to make, I can't believe I didn't think of it sooner. This whole batch of pumpkin coffee (12 servings) cost about $4.00- I'm going to take my crock pot to work and make it for the girls in the office, I think they'll enjoy it.

Step 1: Ingredients and Supplies

You will need coffee, 1/2 can pumpkin puree, 1 can of sweetened condensed milk, cinnamon sticks or ground cinnamon.

I used a blender but it's not absolutely necessary.

You will also need a crock pot. If you have a small crock pot, just make 1 pot of coffee, 4 ounces pumpkin and 1/2 can of sweetened condensed milk.

Step 2: Make Coffee

Make 2 pots of coffee and pour into a large Crock pot. Turn on low.

Step 3: Mix Pumpkin & Milk

In a blender, mix together the can of sweetened condensed milk and 1/2 can of pumpkin puree. Blend well and pour into the crock pot, stirring well into the coffee.

Step 4: Cinnamon

Place 2 cinnamon sticks in the pumpkin coffee. If you'd rather use ground cinnamon, put in 1/2 teaspoon. Cover with the lid and heat for 30 minutes. Serve into mugs using a ladle. Makes 12 servings. Enjoy!

When you say one pot of coffee, you mean the big one (12 cups, as marked in the pot)?

It was pretty darn easy to make and it tasted much better than ones I have purchased in the past... I think I will try the Apple Pie Moonshine next!

I'm making this for my family at Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is a big deal in my family.

This is the first time I heard about pumpkin coffee. Being the only adult in the family who does not drink coffee, I am on the fence about this one, but I will pitch the idea to the others. Thanks for sharing!
