Puppet From an Apple

An apple a day keeps the boredom away.

Step 1: Cut the Eyes

Knives are toys but they are sharp toys so don't cut yourself.

Step 2: Remove a Wedge to Form a Hinge

Cutting a wedge from the back will allow the mouth to hinge open.

Step 3: Use the Stem for a More Stable Hinge

I cut a slit in each half of the apple and then shoved the stem in at the peak of the hinge. Prevents the halves from sliding too much.
Additional features like ears and nose can be added as desired.
