Introduction: Quick Braided Updo
Step 1: What You Need
You will need:
1. Two elastic hair ties (I recommend the cheap kind so you can cut them out later).
2. A hair brush
3. A spray bottle filled with water. (This is optional. I used it just to smooth out the hair to get rid of some of the flyaways before starting).
4. Bobby pins that match your hair color
5. Scissors (optional). You only need these if you will be cutting out the hair ties at the end.
Step 2: Brush
Step 3: Ponytail
Pull your hair into a low ponytail and secure it with a hair tie. Then, part the area directly above the elastic so there is a gap in the middle and pull your ponytail up, around, and all the way through the gap so it forms a twist on either side of gap.
Step 4: Braid
Braid the ponytail tightly and secure it with another elastic.
Step 5: Pin in Place
Just as you pulled the ponytail through the gap in your hair, pull the braid through the gap and wrap it around as many times as necessary until it is all tucked in. Then, secure it with bobby pins, and if desired, carefully cut out the hairbands. Then, you're finished! Also, please be sure to vote in the Hair and Makeup contest! Thank you!
