Hi all,

i won a pair of skull candy aviators at a trade show a while back and they quickly became my go to headphones to travel with as they are comfortable for long trips and fold up. the only issue was they were wired and that was not what i wanted.

After several months of thinking up how do do this i finally decided an off the shelf Bluetooth adapter was the way to go. Total cost was under 20usd if you source a cheap cable.

STEP 1: Parts:

STEP 2: Streambot Assemble!

This is one of the easiest builds i have done.

simply print or order the 2d printed part, clip it in and slide in the mpow streambot.

All that is left is to plug in the audio cable.

and you are done!

the blue version lasted about 3-4 years and finally broke, but ill just print a new version!

Hey cool little connector/adapter! This looks a lot better than using elastic bands like Ive done! I used to have the same headphones and still use the Mpow on my AKG's.

If your thinking of doing a v2, it is a little bulky. Instead of using 4 tags could you use 2 instead? Have them go in between the wire frame so supports the Mpow on the top and bottom? Would use less plastic and make it more discrete.

Keep coming up with cool ideas :)

thanks, i originally tired 3 tabs and it didnt hold well. my current one broke after several years of use so it might be a good time for a redesign
