Introduction: Quick and Easy Harry Potter Wands

No Harry Potter costume is complete without a wand! But official Harry Potter wands can be expensive, this is a quick and easy way to make your own wand that will complete your costume.

Step 1: Materials

- Hot Glue Gun

- Chopsticks (you can also use sticks from your garden)

- Wool or String (any colour)

- Paintbrush

- Paint (Black, Brown or Grey)

Step 2: Glue

Using the hot glue gun, place glue around the thick end of the chopstick

Step 3: Wool

Working quickly before the glue cools, wrap wool tightly around the area where you have placed the glue.

Then use the wool to make the design of your choice.

I also covered the outside of the wool with a thin layer of glue to make sure that it stays in place.

Step 4: Paint

Using the colour of your choice, paint the chopstick, making sure to cover the colour of the wool completely.

Step 5: Finished Wands

You now have a finished Harry Potter wand to add to your costume!
