Introduction: Quilling Marine Life

Hello friends

Today I am going a make a project on : Marine Life on 24 x 18 inch canvas.

Its a amazing wall hanging for your sweet home.

So lets, start.

Step 1: Things We Need

To make this project I have use

  1. 24 x 18 inch Canvas Board
  2. acrylic colours and Flat painting brushes
  3. 3 mm Paper Strips
  4. Glue (Fevicol)
  5. Quilling Tools ( quilling slotted tool, tweezers, scissors)
  6. Half sticky beads for decoration.

Step 2: Paint the Backgound

Next Paint the background.

I use yellow occur for ocean bottom and blue for the water.

also gave an effect of white light coming from outside the ocean.

Once the background colour finished , let it dry properly.

when dried completely, start drawing the mermaid....

Step 3: Making Sea Creatures

Now start making sea creatures, I made

Fishes, turtle, seahorse, crab, very tiny fishes, conch, etc...

Step 4: Making More Flora and Fauna:

Using quilling strips, I made all flora and fauna of ocean..

Step 5: Complete the Mermaid

Once all flora - faunas completed, start sticking them on canvas, and lastly, start to complete the mermaid.

i used different shades of green for mermaid tail.

Step 6: Making of Mermaid Jewellery

Mermaid, the water princes, loves pearl, so, I decorate her with pearl beads ...

Step 7: Final Look
