Introduction: Quilling Paper Storage

About: bibliophile, anticonsumerist, dog lover. If I can't make it, I dont need it!

I love paper quilling! I've really gotten into it lately. With that, comes a LOT of paper strips. What to do with them? How to store them neatly, cheaply, and according to color, hopefully with items I already have? I came up with an elegant, nearly free solution. Here's what you will need:

wire hanger
wire cutters
cork
binder clips (small are best)

Step 1:

Cut the hanger in the middle of the "elbow" about where my finger is in the first picture. Bend the bottom cut end to a right angle. Stick the cork on the top piece and bend that slightly too so that it's a right angle.

Step 2:

Put bundles of quilling paper together according to color and secure with binder clips. Thread these on the hanger. Then stick the bottom wire into the cork.

Step 3:

Then find a nice place to hang all that extra quilling paper!
