RAV4 GEN5 Phone Mount From Scrap

You will need a sheet of metal, I choose an aluminum back shell of a broken tablet.

Step 1:

Use a piece of carton to mold the shape of the phone mount body, I cut 2 pieces, one for the mount, one for the support which can stick on the plastic dash boarder, then joint them into a single piece.

Step 2:

Cutting and sanding the aluminum sheet

Step 3:

Folding the sheet, to perfectly suit the curve, I made one more half cut for easier bending

Step 4:

This is a vent mounting phone magnet charger, it comes with a rubber nail, inside there is the screw.

fill with 3M double face sticker.

Step 5:

Here you have a perfectly angled phone magnet mount, in a seemingly impossible location. enjoy your trip!
