Introduction: RECIPE | POMEGRANATE MACHE SALAD
This light and protein rich salad will keep you full and wanting more especially with this easy Honey Lemon Dressing by Jamie Oliver (click here for it or scroll down below). The base of this salad are Mâche leaves, also known as corn salad, mixed with avocado, corn, pomegranate, roasted cashews and roasted pumpkin seeds. It's a great side dish or acts well as a main course but just fill up that plate. The nuts and avocado leave you feeling satiated. If you're not a fan of avocado, you can always remove it.
I'm using I Love Organic Girl's salad mix which has been pre-washed three times. I like purchasing from this specific company because their salads are 100% organic, non-GMO, tasty, fresh and their packaging is 100% recyclable. They have a large variety of different salad variations from baby kale to spinach to your classic romaine hearts. They're found at most Canadian retailers like Loblaws, Whole Foods, Walmart, Pusateri's, and at select health food stores, click here for their store locator.
Note: I am not sponsored by any of the brands listed in this post. These products are listed because I believe in their quality as well as the company behind them.
