Introduction: ROCK, PAPER, SISSORS, LIZARD, SPOCK, the Card Game

Rock-paper-scissors-lizard-Spock is a five-gesture expansion of the classic selection method game rock-paper-scissors. It operates on the same basic principle, but includes two additional weapons: the lizard (formed by the hand as a sock-puppet-like mouth) and Spock[1] (formed by the Star Trek Vulcan salute). This reduces the chances of a round ending in a tie. The game was invented by Sam Kass with Karen Bryla.

I truthfully have no idea why this idea popped into my head but i saw a graphic of Sheldon from Big bang theory explaining the game (not the version i have posted here the one i saw was in color but i lost it on face book and sudenly thought HMM i could make this a card game

so i did

what i have posted here is a PDF of the cards including a box and score cards that fit in the box

Step 1: The Cards

Step one print this PDF the first 2 pages are the front and optional back printing this 5 times will give you 50 cards which is more than enough

to make it easier i made the cards using the Avery 8371 business card template so that the can be printed on any precut busness carts that use that template

the box and score card can be printed on regular card stock

Step 2: Cut Apart and Assemble

separate the cards box and score card parts from there paper and assemble for the box follow the instructions in the graphic on this step for assembling the box

for the score cards attach the two halfs together using a layer of packing tape leaving a spall gap to act as a hinge i got this idea from the pocket white board instructable LINK: https://www.instructables.com/id/Make-a-full-size-dry-erase-board-that-folds-up-to-/

Step 3: Game Play

the basic rules are on the back of the card box but to reiterate:

The rules of Rock-paper-scissors-lizard-Spock are:

    Scissors cuts paper
    Paper covers rock
    Rock crushes lizard
    Lizard poisons Spock
    Spock smashes scissors
    Scissors decapitates lizard
    Lizard eats paper
    Paper disproves Spock
    Spock vaporizes rock
    Rock crushes scissors

there are a couple of diffrent ways i've thought of how you can play games with these cards wich i outline in the next step beyond that but I kinda want to see what other people come up with the score boards have space to keep track of games that are best 5 out of 8

Step 4: My Rules

version one:
Each player gets one of each card and each turn picks one and places it face down winner takes the losers card first player to run out of cards looses the game

version two:
shuffle the deck and deal each player 5 cards randomly you can then either play like Uno beat the card face up on the table and clear your hand or

version three:
like poker, the player who's hand beats the other wins
