Introduction: Rainbow Loom Brush Strokes Bracelet

This very unique and beautiful bracelet will be the perfect accessory to glam up your outfit on any and every occasion! The best part is that this bracelet is so easy and quick to make! Let's get started!

Step 1: Materials

For this rainbow loom project, you will need any 3 colors of the rainbow loom bands. Feel free to be creative and mix and match your colors! You will also need a hook, a loom, and a c-clip or s-clip.

Step 2: Placing the Bands

Grab your loom and one of your rainbow loom band colors. I am using a light sparkly pink. Make sure that the red arrow on the rainbow loom is pointing away from you. Place the bands down the whole middle row. Then, place a another band from the last peg of the middle row to the last peg of the right row.

Step 3: Placing the Bands

Take another band and place it from the first peg on the middle row to the first peg on the right row.

Step 4: Placing the Bands

Just like we did on the middle row, place the bands down the entire right row.

Step 5: Placing the Bands

Take another color of the rainbow loom bands, I used a jelly pink. Place the band from the first peg on the right row to the second peg on the middle row.

Step 6: Placing the Bands

Take the only color that you have not used yet, I used a magnetic blue. Place a band from the second peg on the middle row to the second peg on the right row.

Step 7: Placing the Bands

Continue the last two steps on the loom until the very last peg. Remember the alternate the colors you picked. This should make a zig-zag pattern on your loom.

Step 8: Placing the Bands

Turn your loom around, so that the red arrow on the loom faces toward you. Then take the band color that you used for the base of the bracelet, for me, it was the light sparkly pink color. Then loop the band three times around the peg closest to you on the left row. Remember that the directions are flipped because we turn the loom the opposite way.

Step 9: Looming the Bands

Grab your hook. With it, go under the cap band, and reach for the band underneath the cap band. Pull it over the peg and place it on the peg above the peg it's supposed to go on.

Step 10: Looming the Bands

With your hook, go on to the next peg. In this case, it would be the first peg on the middle row. Then reach under the last band on the peg, it for me it was the pink band. Just like for the other peg, stretch the band to the peg above where it's supposed to go.

Step 11: Looming the Bands

Countinue this pattern until you are on the second to last peg on the middle row.

Step 12: Looming the Bands

When you reach that peg, place the band on the last peg on the left row.

Step 13: Looming the Bands

On the first peg on the left side, there should be 5 bands on that peg. Reach for the 4th band with your hook, or under the cap band, the band should be your base color.

Step 14: Looming the Bands

Pull the band over the peg. Stretch the band around the left side of the peg above the original peg and place it on the next peg above that.

Step 15: Looming the Bands

Repeat that step again and again until you reach the second to last peg on the left row. Repeat these steps going up the loom. Make sure you don't miss a peg!!

Step 16: Looming the Bands

Your loom should look like this.
***TIP- Turn your loom sideways like the second picture and there should only one band of your base color under the band of your other color. If you see two bands of your base colors under the other color, that means you missed a peg.***

Step 17: Looming the Bands

Grab the base color band on the second to last peg on the left row with your hook. Stretch the band around the left side of the last peg on the left row. Place the band on the last peg on the middle row.

Step 18: Looming the Bands

Follow the same pattern to loom the middle row. But, instead of pulling the band to the left of the peg, pull it to the right. You can also apply the hint for this side, too. Remember to stop looming at the second to last peg on the middle row.

Step 19: Looming the Bands

When you are done looming, your loom should look like this.

Step 20: Looming the Bands

Grab the base color on the last peg on the left side and place it on the last peg on the middle.

Step 21: Looming the Bands

Grab the base color on the second to last peg on the middle row and place it on the last peg on the middle row.

Step 22: Looming the Bands

Put your hook through all the bands on the last peg on the middle row and pull the bracelet off the loom.

Step 23: Making an Extension

Transfer your bracelet from your loom to your hook. Grab one band of your base color and put it on your hook, like the picture above.

Step 24: Making a Extension

Pull the bracelet threw the single band and place both sides of the band on your hook.

Step 25: Making a Extension

Repeat the last two steps over and over until you reach your desired length of your bracelet.

Step 26: Finishing the Bracelet

C-clip both ends of your bracelet and then you're done!! Enjoy your amazing bracelet!
