Introduction: Rainbow Loom Butterfly

About: PLEASE give honest feedback so that I could improve, THANKS! The rainbow loom patterns were not invented by me; these were originally found on YouTube or some other place but I decided to make an Instructable …

PLEASE like and follow!!! Not ALL of the pictures are mine but some are

Step 1: Materials

YOU'LL NEED:
A LOOM
A CLIP
RAINBOW BANDS
A HOOK

Step 2: Beginning

Now that you have your materials out, grab a (any color)rubber band and place it from the diagonally from left to right.

Step 3:

After you placed the first rubber band, place the second from the top of your first rubber band, forward

Step 4:

Then put another rubber band from the top of your second rubber band diagonally from right to left

Step 5:

After you do that, do the same to the other side

Step 6:

Now that you've done both sides(make sure it looks like a hexagon), grab a different colored rubber band(this is going to be the butterfly's wings) and twist it into a figure 8

Step 7:

Then place the figure 8 two pegs so that it looks like the picture. After you do that place another one so that both 8s are in the hexagon

Step 8: The Next Butterfly

After you finished with the 8s(wings), you will have to start another butterfly. To start, add a different colored rubber band diagonally(like the 1st butterfly)

Step 9:

Now that you started the second butterfly, do what you did for the first butterfly

Step 10: Colors

You could keep repeating the same colors OR you could do ALL of the butterflies with different colors

Step 11:

Keep repeating with all of the butterflies until you've reached the top of the loom with only two pegs(top left and top right) left

Step 12: Cap Band

Now it's time to add a cap band! Make a figure 8 with a rubber band( I prefer black or the same colored band as the rubber bands your placing it on) any color you want and put the figure 8 together to make an O that has been doubled

Step 13: Placing the Cap Band

After making the cap band( the doubled O), place it on the top band in the middle row

Step 14: Now It's Time for Looping

Grab your hook and flip the loom so that the holes and arrow is facing you

Step 15:

Now pull back the cap band with your hook(by putting your hook in the hole) and grab the top rubber band and loop it diagonally. Do the same on the other side. Make sure your loom matches all of the steps' pictures

Step 16:

Now loop the other band on the bottom right that goes straight(the bottom rubber band)

Step 17:

Now loop the next rubber band that is on top of the band you just looped(the bottom rubber band)

Step 18:

Now do the same on the other side

Step 19:

Remember to leave the wings alone. Now do the same to the other butterflies until you reach the top of the loom

Step 20:

Now grab a rubber band, any color, and put your hook through the top hole. When your hook is in, place your rubber band on it and pull your hook back out of the hole with the rubber band half out and half in the hole

Step 21: Almost Done!

Now pull the rubber bands off the loom with the extra rubber band on top

Step 22:

Now that you pulled it off, flip the loom back around so that the arrow is pointing away from you. Then add about 8 or 9 rubber bands forward. When your done with that, flip it again so that the arrow is now pointing at you

Step 23:

Now place the extra rubber band(from earlier on the butterfly part) on the last/bottom rubber band.

Step 24:

Now start looping forward until you reach the top of the loom!

Step 25:

Now pull it off the loom and grab your clip(S or C clip, any one is okay)

Step 26:

Now clip your clip on the rubber band that is wrapped around your hook. Then hook the clip to the cap band on the butterfly part

Step 27:

Now that your done you could adjust the wings and bracelet! Enjoy!
