Introduction: Rainbow Loom Zic-Zac Bracelet
My 5 year old made this. It's her favorite thing to make. Now she makes people and other stuff using the rainbow loom. This design you can use as many colors as you want to. I use 2 or 3, but, if you can think it, you can make it. This is really easy to make. I hope you enjoy!
Step 1: Step 1: What You Will Need
Rainbow loom, A hook, an S or C clip and rubber bands. How many bands depends on the size of the wrist your making it for.
Step 2: Step 2: Getting Started
I am using blue and red but feel free to use any or as many colors as you want. These are all single bands. Take your first single band and place it going from the first middle peg to the first right peg. Then take another band and go from the first right peg to the second middle peg.Take another back and go from the second middle peg to the 3rd right peg. This was your going in a zic-zac. Do this all the way down the loom until you get to the last middle peg.
Step 3: Step 3: Adding More Bands
Do the zic-zac on the other side. Just like i did in the pictures.
Step 4: Step 4: Adding the Middle Color
This one is easy. Just take a color and go straight down the middle with it. Once you get to the last middle peg, add a cap band. Wrap it around once so there is two loops.
Step 5: Step 5: Start Looping Up
Go under the cap band and grab the first band it should be the last color you put on it in the middle. Loop up all the middle. Then go under the cap band and get the next top band and loop it on to the side. Then go into that peg you just looped and grab that band and loop it on to itself. You went zic-zac to put them on the pegs, so that how you have to loop them up. Do this on both side, just like in the photos .
Step 6: Step 6: Finishing Up
Now at the bottom where you cap band is add ur s or c clip. You can either take a single band and put your hook through all the band on the first peg and slip the band on there, almost like you are going to make a slip know. (don't make a slip knot) leave both end on the hook then carefully pull it off of the loom board and hook the s or c clip on the cap band on to it. OR you can repeat the pattern down the loom board and instead of a cap band hook the end of the band on to it, to make your bracelet bigger. The last picture is a white and blue necklace i made to give you an idea of what it looks like bigger. Hope you enjoy!
