Hi!

Have you ever watched Disney's Tangled? Do you just LOVE Rapunzel's luscious locks? What about her fun festival braid? If so, you've come to the right place. I'm demonstrating on an American Girl doll, but you can do this on yourself or your friends!

You'll need:

- two small, clear hair elastics

- one larger hair tie

- a hairbrush (wire wig, if on an AG doll)

- flower clips, as many as desired

- two ribbons, any color

- to know how to braid

Optional for dolls: a squirt bottle full of water, to tame flyaways

Step 1:

Start off with the hair brushed and tangle-free. If on a doll, squirt water on the hair to tame flyaways. Don't squirt the doll's eyes!

Step 2:

Take a small section from the top left of the hair, a bit back from the hairline. Braid it all the way own, and secure it with a small elastic.

Step 3:

Take a small piece from the lower right of the hair, and braid it all the way down. Secure with an elastic.

Step 4:

Tie a ribbon to each of the braids, then take all the hair and braid it together. Make sure the ribbon's ends don't show! Tie with the larger hair tie.

Step 5: Flowers!!!

Clip in the flowers, arranging them in any pattern.

Step 6: In Conclusion

Look at that! You've just made an awesome braid, and you're ready to rock it! It wasn't that hard, was it?

Feel free to ask questions, and if you've made it, I'd love to see! :)
