Raspberry Pi 2 Card Case (Laser Cut)
Intro: Raspberry Pi 2 Card Case (Laser Cut)
When working on my GCSE computer science course work, which involved using Raspberry Pis I was asked to create a case which could be laser cut from card for the rest of the class to use. I found this case on the internet, which itself was based on this case for the Raspberry Pi Model B, unfortunately it was a bitmap PDF file which would not have worked very well with the laser cutter. To combat this I used the PDF as a template and drew over the top of it in 2D Design, I cut the outline and engraved the fold lines and text and also I improved the ventilation hole with the Raspberry Pi logo.
STEP 1: Download the Files
I have included the 2D Design File and a DXF file (if you need it in any other formats let me know in the comments and I will see what I can do!). Download them and laser cut to your hearts content.
ALTERNATIVELY just print the included PDF and carefully cut it out with a craft knife. (make sure to print as actual size and not fit to page)
STEP 2: Assemble the Case
Epilog Contest: If I owned my own laser cutter I would of course laser cut Raspberry Pi cases and I would make lots of instructables about making things with it!

Any chance you would make one for the good old Pi 1 ;-P

please give me credit for the design of the raspberry pi laser cut logo trace. I find it very hard to believe that your design is exactly the same as mine, curve for curve.
