Introduction: Rattle Snake Eggs Prank
After recently visiting a Souvenier Shop in Missouri, while touring, my friend had bought a Rattle Snake Eggs prank. The price was over 6 dollars for materials that cost under a quarter. So I decided to recreate the prank but with different materials, and make it easier to work. This project will only cost under a quarter if you search for the materials, which aren't hard to find.
Step 1: Materials
There is only 4 different things you need:
- A soda bottle cap
- A paperclip
- A rubber band
- A paper envelope, or paper pouch.

- A rubber band
- A paper envelope, or paper pouch.
Step 2: Assembling the Prank Part 1
The first step is to take a regular paper clip and bend it, into a shape that is a rectangle, missing one of its longer sides. After that you must take the rubberband and put it on the paper clip ends, so you can keep it tight and working.
Step 3: Assembling the Prank Part 2
The next step is to take your bottle cap, and put it between the rubber bands.
Step 4: Decorate the Envelope
Now to make the prank seem less conspicuous, on my envelope I wrote Rattle Snake Eggs, and Caution: Keep in a cold environment to prevent hatching. So there is a couple phrases that could be on the envelope.
Step 5: Twist!
Now you have to repeatedly twist the cap, in the rubberband. Do this at least 25 times or more, that way there will a longer lasting effect.
Step 6: Set Up the Prank
Now carefully holding the twisted trap, place it in the envelope, then after that close the envelope. Make sure the trap can not be seen.
Step 7: The Prank
Now when some one opens up the envelope, the closed walls, will open and the prank will start untwisting an it will hit the walls and make a loud unexpected noise.
