Step 1: Introduction

This tutorial will identify the step-by-step instructions needed to complete a Lottery Receiving in your store once you receive your weekly lottery order via UPS delivery.

Store management will:

1. Receive lottery on the store the held.

2. Confirm the lottery invoice at the lottery terminal.

3. Verify and post the lottery receiving on the back office BlueCube application.

Step 2: Reboot and Login to Handheld

1. Hold down the red power button in the bottom left hand corner for about 10 seconds until the handheld begins to reboot.

2. Login with your designated BlueCube user name and password.

Step 3: Select Lottery Management Menu

3. On main menu, selectoption 7 for Lottery Management, press enter.

4. Select option 2 for Lottery Receiving, press enter.

5. Select option 1 for Add Lottery Receiving, press enter.

Step 4: Begin Receiving Lottery

6. Identify the invoice number ("shipment #") on the paper invoice that was delivered with the lottery order.

7. Enter the invoice number in the designated box on the handheld screen. Press enter or arrow (>) to the next page.

8. Scan the large barcode on the back of the lottery book using the scanner at the top of the handheld and the yellow trigger button or enter button. A red line will appear where the scanner is pointed. A single "beep" noise will sound to indicate the scan, the barcode will appear in the designated box then disappear. Once the number disappears the handheld is ready to scan the next item.

9. Once all of the items have been scanned Tapthe drop down and Save as Complete.

Step 5: Confirm Invoice at Lottery Terminal

10. Select the purple Instant Games tab on the touch screen of the terminal,

11. Select the Confirm Order button.

12. Scan the barcode of the invoice at the lotter terminal. The invoice number will appear in the designated box.

13. Select Receive Shipment. A receipt will print as confirmation of the receiving. Attached the confirmation to the invoice and put them in your Daily Sales Report (DSR) folder for the current.

Step 6: Verify and Post Lottery Order

14. Go to your back office computer.

15. Open Internet Explorer.

16. Select the BlueCube application.

17. Login to BlueCube with your designated Login and Password.

18. In the drop down box begin to type in Lottery, select Lottery Receiving.

19. Open the top Lottery Receiving via the series of number that are underlined. This Receiving can also be identified as the one that is shown as "Completed" but not yet "Posted".

20. Confirm that the Invoice dollar amount matches the scanned in dollar amount.

21. (Edit if needed)

22. Post confirmed Invoice with the yellow "Post" button the upper right corner.

Step 7: Completed!

You've completed from start to finish a Lottery Order Receiving on the handheld, Confirmed the order to the Lottery terminal, and Posted your receiving in BlueCube. Great Job! This is one of the many tasks that you, as a manager, are responsible for completing. This task is similar to others required task .
