Intro: Recycled Newspaper Frame

Want a unique gift? An inexpensive craft? A recylcing project?  This is the answer!

What you will need...
  • A simple frame (plastic works fine)
  • Newspaper
  • Mod Podge

STEP 1:

First you will need to tear out sections of words from the newspaper that are about one square inch large.

STEP 2:

Once you have a good amount of pieces ready, begin to overlap them on your frame and cover them with a layer of Mod Podge.  Continue this until your entire frame is covered.

STEP 3:

Then, you will need to choose the theme of your frame.  For this one, I chose "Family". Next, tear or cut out words from your newspaper relating to this theme.

STEP 4:

Now, you will take those cut out words and Mod Podge them over your newsprint border.  Lastly, all you have to do is let your frame dry and put a photo inside!
