Introduction: Redneck Weedeater Aftermath
Basically I had a bank overgrown with sumac trees and briar bushes and needed it gone. Tried the chainsaw, but that didn't work too well because I didn't have a brush bar. Tried the weedeater too, and that also didn't work, even with the brush blade.
My 1987 Dodge 4x4 worked much better....till I got it stuck on some tree stumps. Alas. Darn bank is still rather unfinished some few months later.
Btw, this method is great for clearing old corn fields too, as long as there is ample mud.

Not too sure what you did. You just drove over the brush or did you use a chain to pull it out?

Oh blah, yeah, I did a little of both. Lost the photo of the truck balacing on folded trees with the chains dangling behind it. Mostly though, I simply plowed over everything.
