Removing Heat Stain White Marks From a Kitchen Table

I had a serious problem when i was pressure canning some soup. the bottles, even though the were on a towel, left a series of white rings on the table when they were left to cool.

since then I noticed that any hot item leff on the table made a white mark.

they couldn't be polished off, or cleaned off, it was as thought he varnish itself had changed colour.

but i found this simple process to remove the white marks.

you're going to need a steam iron and a bath towel for this.
