RetroFamipie - Famicom Based Retropie

This is yet another Case mod for a raspberry pi based RetroPie.

At this stage I am only posting pictures, and high level descriptions of the steps.

Step 1: Cleaning and Preparing the Case

3 phases here:

1-Cleaning.

Dishsoap, sponge and toothbrush are you friend

2-Paint removal.

Someone thought it'd be a good idea to custom paint it pink, yuk

paint thinner and toothbrush, took me about 2 hours.

3-Retrobright

The front of the case was quite yellowed, I used creme developer which really improved things.

Step 2: Fitting the Pi Inside

This step took a lot of effort figuring out how to place and secure the pi inside.

I had to dremel the case quite a bit

Step 3: Final Result

For the controllers I originally wanted to USB mod the original pads but 2 buttons is just not enough.

I was lucky enough to find these 6 buttons USB pads brand new, and they fit perfectly.
